Got the Venoms put
together. I'm excited enough to post pictures of plain gray models. They'll be done soon enough- the models are really pretty tiny compared to Ravagers and Raiders.

| This is what I have left to assemble- also got some Fine Cast Incubi to go along with my metal ones. We'll see how they are- I want to convert a few to ride on their raider, but we'll see if that ever becomes a reality, lol. |

| Four Venoms, with four gunners and six warriors to hang off of them from my Ravager kits. I'll make sure to write a note for the people grading painting scores- it's a conversion, even if it's a small one. Should be able to finagle a conversion point out of it or two- my army really doesn't have a ton of them, I'm relying on how cool the army actually looks. Maybe that's a mistake, lol. One guy has a flag- it'll be the one my Wracks wride in. |
So there you have it. You might note that I already glued the plastic canopy over the models. I decided to just paint them black and highlight the details- the plastic canopies didn't work out for me when I tried them on my Vendettas, and I'd rather it work out than struggle forever on something that isn't very cool to begin with.
These might actually be my last pictures from my current camera. My new one should be here... soon.

The models are so cool. I don't blame you on the canopy, I'd do the same.
I have to agree with the canopy. My first Stormraven Gunship was done all up and let me say I will never do that again. I'm going to paint over it and give it 'reentry' shields.

I drove to every store in a 20 mile radius from my home last Friday evening and they were all sold out. Boy was I ever totally pissed.
