Random Blood Angels List

BoLSCON is tomorrow (I'm leaving for it tonight) but instead of more (mostly) incoherent rambling on my expectations, I instead figured I'd post up a BA list I've been playing around with.  Here it is:


Blood Angels 2000 points

One priest goes with the Devestators, one goes in a razor, and one goes with the jump troops.  Mephiston goes around and kills stuff, supported by jump troops.  Preds can either deploy and give cover saves to stuff, or use outflanking shenanegans.  The assault squads in the razors are there to pop AV14, help with anti-horde counterassaults, or just score in real quick vehicles. 

It's a balanced list, with no single 'need to keep alive' unit, with the potential exception of Mephiston.  Lots of different threats everywhere, with lots of FNP on lots(ish) of bodies.  I think it's the best one I've made so far, though I might potentially have to take out my Baals (sounds painful!) for something else.  They just seem like the weak links, TBH.  For example, I could put Fists on all my assault marines, and add a Librarian, and a chaplain w/ jump pack. 

All the games with my longfangs in the Wolves have made me a believer in the awesomeness of ML devs- I'm even thinking of taking them in my Salamanders army (haha, I kid, I kid!).  Still, with a 130-point price tag, they're a steal for sure.

Anyways, this is the list I'm thinking of taking for Tacticon in early September, provided I'm tired of my Wolves by then.  Guess we'll see what happens.  This'll likely be my last post until BoLSCON is over.  Peace out.
