Here's the part where I talk about Adepticon in general, and what I thought was good or bad. There were a lot of both, in my mind. Keep in mind that I don't really have a TON of other 'enormous' tournaments to compare this to, only BoLSCON really. Still, I've been to a countless number of other tournaments, and have a great grasp on what *I* like and don't like. So, I'll try to explain my thoughts in a coherent manner.
Hey, I'm Xaereth, welcome to Delusions of Grandeur! This is a blog dedicated (mostly) to competitive play in miniature gaming. I used to play 40k competitively, but have since started to play Warmachine exclusively. Mostly just battle reports these days. We'll see if I ever make time for more. Heh.

Back from Adepticon: Part 1
I had intended to post something about me prepping for Adepticon before I left for it, but time was much more in demand than I had previously anticipated. Suffice it to say that I went to Adepticon in Chicago (after a 15-hour drive), and now I'm back, somewhat exhausted, from it all. It was a pretty intense trip.

Clash for Colorado, part 1 of 2!
Since this is my first post here, I believe an introduction is in order! My name is Jason and like Xaereth mentioned before, I play both 40k and hordes! I have played many other games including inquisitor, fantasy, BFG, etc. But my main focus is on 40k and hordes.
Alright, on to the juicy stuff! This last weekend was the biannual Clash for Colorado. For those that don't know, this is
New Poster
Well folks, as you have no doubt noticed, I haven't been able to post a ton on this blog lately, and I completely blame school and work for this travesty. Anyways, I figured I'd try to get more posts on here, so I invited my friend Jason to start writing here. He plays both 40k (Salamanders) and Warmachine/Hordes (Legion of Everblight). Not sure how often he'll get on, but it'll hopefully increase the number of 'articles' on here, and give people more of an incentive to get on. Expect a battle report of his own on here soon!
