2017 Tournament Results

This post will be more for my own records than anything. One of the perks to writing a battle report blog is that I get a tangible reminder of events in the past. I tend to be very nostalgic, and being able to relive old games and events is a really fun thing for me. I want to have this post for my own sake later in life, where I can see all the tournaments I played in one year and see how things went.

I don't expect that anyone else really cares about my past games/tournament record. It's not for self-aggrandizement. Whereas I certainly have an ego (as does everyone, to some degree), I don't really care to beat other people over the head with my accomplishments. I have other ways to stroke my ego if I want to do that. Still, if this sort of thing isn't something you're interested in reading, don't do it. Simple as that. :)

Frostycon 2014 Results

Hello Delusions of Grandeur readers.  I am Aaron Aleong aka Spaguatyrine.  I am a new contributor to the great blog known as Delusions of Grandeur.  This first post I am writing is to show the results of Frostycon. A 32 man 40k event that I organized this past weekend.  I owe the results to the participants and wanted to get the data out as soon as possible.

Well, depite my lack of postings, I've played a couple tournaments lately.  I'll just tell you a quick summary of the results:

A Random Warmachine Tournament

Last weekend my gaming store held a qualifying tournament for the impending 'Clash for Colorado' which is a tournament that happens every 6 months, with each gaming club sending their top 5 players to compete.  I figured I'd throw down, despite the fact that I've hardly played in the past 3 or 4 months.  Tournaments are always fun to attend, and I figured since I'd never tried a Steamroller format tournament, it could be cool.  Plus, then I might be able to qualify for the actual 'big' tournament later this summer.
